Mel Westmoreland always knew his calling was helping others. He came from a family of people committed to serving the community: His mother was a teacher; his father, a high school assistant principal. The owner of a behavioral group home for 18 years, Mel had a passion for helping kids get on the right path, and he brings the same passion to his work with seniors. After all, we’re all going to be in their position one day.
Micaela Kymer
Scheduling Specialist
Micaela scheduling skills are great assets for Wisdom Senior Care family. She devotes her passion in solving schedule puzzles to ensure that Wisdom scheduling works smoothly for our clients and caregivers. With her teammates, she coordinates, allocates the right caregivers to our clients’ needs. The fit with clients’ personality and caregivers is all covered in a collaborative manner. In her interactions with caregivers, she allocates as much as she can her time to understand their situations. She is an advocate about our team approach in client's homes.
Sharon Yaffey
Registered Nurse Suppervisor
She is from Greensboro NC, and she has been a North Carolina Registered Nurse for over 30 years. She currently lives in Cary NC. Her nursing career has included employment in hospital medical/surgical units, home healthcare settings, medical offices, inpatient behavioral health settings, and in medical utilization review settings. This has enabled her to view healthcare from many different perspectives. Having cared for seniors in healthcare settings and for her own family, she can say that she definitely has a heart for the senior population. She believes healthcare for all, seniors included, should address all aspects of health and well-being. She is impressed with the quality of care that Wisdom Senior Care provides and she looks forward to being part of Wisdom Senior Care’s continued growth.
